Quotient Familial (Family Quotient) System

How it works:

Income is divided by the number of "parts" based on family composition. Tax is calculated on this divided amount, then multiplied back. This significantly reduces tax for families with children.

  • Single: 1 part
  • Married/PACS: 2 parts
  • 1st child: +0.5 parts
  • 2nd child: +0.5 parts
  • 3rd+ children: +1 part each

Example: Married couple with 2 kids = 2 + 0.5 + 0.5 = 3 parts
